My Contribution

My work on this project was very similar to other sports productions like FIFA 2026 World Cup, which included:

  • Technical art ownership across mobile and Vision Pro devices
  • GPU performance debugging for mobile and Vision Pro
  • Asset integration pipeline for avatars, jerseys, and branded content
  • Procedural pitch rendering driven by live skeletal tracking data

Coaching-focused NHL 3D simulation

  • A mobile and Vision Pro application tailored for the coaching staff of NHL teams, built to access games across the season and analyze them through an event-driven timeline.
  • Mostly used on Apple Vision Pro by coaching staff for life-size immersion and in-depth analysis, but also available on mobile
  • The app was built as a coaching tool rather than a fan-facing viewing product, so the 3D work had to support clear analysis, fast review, and reliable presentation across long-form season content.

Teams and Competition Constraints for Technical Art

Although the artwork in all the sports projects is minimal to avoid interfering with the heavy amount of UX interactions and UI needs, one recurring constraint was that most visual items needed to respond to competition data, which includes color codes, logos, home/away states, and various levels of visual combinations.

The challenge is to allow them all to be accurate and handle all the edge cases while maintaining visual quality and consistency. These team cards are an example of this, as they needed custom gradients, fonts, logo layouts, and game-event animations to work consistently for all teams and matches throughout the competition.
